The Darwin site opened in July 2010, and with an attitude of No Order is too Small or Too Big, quickly the branch became one of the biggest distributors in Darwin. So rapid was the growth the Southern Steel NT was quickly involved in local but strategic projects like; Australian Federal Police Headquarters, Detention Village Wickham Point, Inpex Accommodation Village, New Darwin Correctional Centre and Robertson Barracks upgrade.
